Enjoy my daydreams

I had a topic to discuss with my friends, that is "What kind of life do you want to have?" few weeks ago.  Before I chose this topic to discuss with my friends, I would ask myself if I liked my life. 

Before I was a junior high school student, I trusted a slang "Happy is he who is content." in my life.  I tried my best to not argue some things and took it easy for everything and just enjoyed my life.  Unfortunately, I fell into a bad life after finishing my junior high school's life.  The life has changed my mind, then I am not as happy as before.  It's a bloody dark and hurt. 

Many people told me that it is "Human Life", and Life can be sweet, sour, bitter, and spicy.  It is full of gains, losses, and impermanence.  I have asked God that why we couldn't own normally life?  Is it difficult to have peace life? 

My friends told me they have just accepted it because they couldn't do anything to change the facts.  Therefore, they don't have much feeling to discuss this topic.  I am alone to have this kind of feeling.  However, I just want to have a peace life.  

There is a story which I heard before.  I don't remember all, but the rough story is as below.

A stranger goes to a fishing village, and he meets a fish man.  The fish man is good at fishing.  He can fish as many as he needed, or as varied as he wanted.  The stranger lives with the fish man for a while.  One day, the stranger gives the fish man some suggestions.

Stranger: You have a great fishing skill.  I can help you to sell the fishes which were fished from you in the market.  Then, you can earn more and more money.

Fish Man: Uh huh, it sounds good.  And then?

Stranger: Then, you can found your own company and teach your staffs to fish.  So many your staffs will fish more and more fishes for your company, then you can earn more and more money after you sell fishes.

Fish Man: Uh huh, it sounds good.  And then?

Stranger: And then, you can buy a big house which is bigger than your own now.

Fish Man: Uh huh, it sounds good.  And then?

Stranger: You will be a successful person in the world.

Fish Man: Uh huh, it sounds good.  And then?

Stranger: You can travel wherever you want.  Maybe give some lectures for fishing to some people.

Fish Man: Uh huh, it sounds good.  And then?

Stranger: After you feel tired, you can have a plan for your retirement.  If you want to keep fishing, you can find a place and live there.  You can go to fish anytime you want and enjoy your life forever.

Fish Man smiles and gently answers the stranger: I go fishing anytime I want and enjoy my life now.  Thank you very much.

How do you think about this story?  Some people say it is a very different feeling after you have a color life.  Most of my friends choose the idea which is from the stranger.  But, I like the life as the fish man.
