I cannot believe my decision is wrong due to support Taiwanese merchandise, HTC. Sigh……….
It is my first one smartphone, HTC One V. I have heard Samsung’s smartphone with a good quality for users. Nevertheless, I have decided to support Taiwanese merchandises. I am so regretful for this decision. It does not friendly use and no user manual with the smartphone.
I bought it from the Taipei Spring Computer Show in 2012. Due to it does not have user manual, it let me feel I am so silly to use “smartphone”. The smartphone is on my hand, but I am not so smart to use it. Tricky, right…. (smartphone, but not so smart for me. So, is it the personal problem?)
I went to Taichung to have a gathering with my friend and met the sales person who sold this smartphone to me on the show. He helped me to download and set some programs and asked me to buy a memory card for smartphone using. I followed his suggestion. I also asked him why my smartphone were shut down very often, and he told me the smartphone is like a mini computer, so we should power on and off everyday to let it be re-loaded. I told my brother, my co-workers and friends the sales person’s comments, they all laughed it. It is so stupid comments. They told me Samsung and the other brands do not have the “shut down” situation if they do not power on/off everyday. And, power on and off everyday is a funny comments. I had asked my elder brother for using this phone on the weekends. Finally, I have learned to drive it.
It is about 5 times I have left the complaining messages on the HTC’s webpage. Actually, HTC’s after service is good to solve the problems which I complained very soon. But, I cannot agree with all of solutions. The complaints I have argued were as following.
1) April 15, 2012 → Had visited HTC website to find the user manual but not got it. I just would like to know how to connect smartphone with PC.
At the same day, I got the phone call and feedback by e-mail from the HTC after service to solve my question.
2) July 2nd, 2012 → The BT Handset which is free gift from HTC on the show cannot connect with the smartphone. At the same day, the after service had called me and replied my question. I had tested and re-set the programs for my smartphone.
3) August 16, 2012 → HTC smartphone could not be worked when I touched the screen for many times, and the phone also could not be powered off after I pushed power off button. The dizzy answer from the HTC after service on August 17 told me to take the battery away or power off it. I had written very clear “it CANNOT BE POWERED OFF when I push the button”. The battery is inside HTC One V, it cannot be replaced as normal battery. The battery is screwed inside of the smartphone. So, I replied if I loosed the screws and took the battery away, HTC will guarantee as well? Of course NOT. So, they asked me push “power on/off button” to power off it and move out the programs again, and re-set up it. The problem might be from the software.
As I said, I COULD NOT power off it when I pushed the power on/off button before, did I?

◎ After August 17, the BT HS could not connect my smartphone AGAIN. *$&(O*@*(&$)
Actually, I have fed up to move the programs away again and again. So, I did not complain it to HTC again.
◎ The smartphone is just bought less than one year, but the touch screen could not be used very well “sometimes”. I just ordered it to go back the front page or go to the message page. I pushed over 3 times on the touch screen, then it worked after pushing over 3 times. Is it reasonable? Sigh……
4) I had read the news about宏達電4款手機可望升級新版HTC Sense 5, http://news.cnyes.com/Content/20130301/KH6M5H5Z729OV.shtml, on March 1st, 2013.
宏達電(2498-TW)新hTC ONE甫拿下MWC頒發的「最佳新手持設備」獎，而Facebook粉絲團上也公告將提供部份機種升級最新HTC Sense 5，市場預期今年新hTC One強打部份功能，用戶也未來可以升級使用。
據外電報導指出，宏達電將針對HTC Butterfly、One X、One X+、One S提供更新至HTC Sense 5，但由於部分涉及硬體配合功能部分並不會一併對應，也不會支持所有功能。目前宏達電沒有公佈相關時間，不過上述設備的使用者可能會收到系統更新的通知。宏達電近期在新hTC One消息帶動下，股價持穩表現，今天股價以282元開高走揚，盤中漲幅近2%，市場持續聚焦下周在台發表會上相關行銷和產品訂價策略說明。.
What do you think when you read it? HTC One V is not on the list, isn’t it? Be honest, I am so mad and regretful to buy HTC smartphone. They just care how much profile they will get from the market.
March 06, 2013 → I have posted this news to HTC’s after service webpage and complained my smartphone touch screen’s problem. Sure, at the same day, I got the phone call from their after service when I was driving. So, they mailed the solution about the touch screen problem to my mail account and advised me the news about Chinese description is not announced. ???!!!! (so, the news just be cooked up by journalists and published it??!!) They will advise to their company about my complaint.
And then???
I have to say HTC after service is good because they have replied the users’ questions very soon. But, what you do think about the merchandise which you bought has been complained 5 times less than a year? Would you like to re-move the programs from your smartphone AGAGIN and AGAIN? Would you like to complain to the after service Again and Again?
It is an extremely awful experience. All my feeling is why I chose to support Taiwanese merchandise to make me into this kind of situation??!!!! It is really a hell decision.
I have shared this cruel experience with my friends and some of them also got this terrible experience as similar as mine from HTC smartphone. All we say why we support Taiwanese merchandises, HTC, to get the punishment by ourselves. Therefore, I decide to post this damn experience on my blog and tell my friends who do not buy the smartphone yet. I should let the people know what a hell quality HTC smartphone is.
